I have been a patient, as has my daughter, at Grand Avenue Dental practice for over 25 years and been a patient of Mrs Macpherson for the past 20 years. She has dealt with my more problematic teeth with ease. She is incredibly supportive, has a wealth of knowledge and skill and I trust her judgement completely. Sandra and the reception team are always very friendly and happy to help with any queries or appointments. Along with Nicky my super gentle hygienist, Lucy and the team of dental nurses who are always professional. They all provide a wonderful service and a thank you from me is definitely overdue.

Personally, having Invisalign braces is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I now feel a million times more confident when smiling and have been complimented countless times on the appearance of my teeth. A warm reception immediately on arrival from Sandra and her colleague Sally helped to allay any fears I had about my dental treatment. Mr Kalakonda and his nurse provided the necessary repair in a calm and comfortable manner expertly.
The kindness and consideration received from all concerned helped us to decide that 104 Grand Avenue is where we would like to have our dental treatment in the future. My husband decided whilst watching my treatment.

“My dentist at a previous practice had left suddenly and I asked around my neighbours who suggested the Grand Avenue Dental Practice.
First impressions were good as I was greeted by Sandra (the lady who is nearest the door), who was kind and reassuring. She showed me round and to the waiting room. The ground floor is important for people with disabilities, and the car park also.
I needed a root taken out and a bridge fitted and was not looking forward to this as I had a tooth removed decades ago which I wish I could forget.
The dental work was efficient and quicker than I thought, and the root came out in one go and a bridge fitted. What surprised me is that I felt no pain either at the practice or at home afterwards and no swelling at all thanks to the skill shown by Mr Kalakonda.
The cost is clearly statemented before any work begins which means there are no nasty surprises.
I have talked positively to people especially of my age group and can smile again.”

“I came to see Miss Turpin in quite a state two weeks before my wedding. I had been let down by my NHS dentist and was in need of root canal treatment. Miss Turpin put me at ease and went out of her way to ensure I got the treatment I needed. Whilst talking to her I mentioned a particular tooth that had really bothered me as it sat back from my other teeth and cast a shadow in photos. I had always been very self conscious about it, I had seen orthodontists about having my teeth straightened but with saving for the wedding i couldn’t have it done. Miss Turpin suggested building up the tooth to bring in inline and I was delighted as nobody had ever mentioned this option before. She carried out the treatment the following week and literally i was smiling from ear to ear! I love my wedding photos as I am smiling widely in all of them!”
