New Patients

A warm welcome, you have made the first step in finding a new dentist suited to you. Choosing the right dentist and dental practice is an important decision, so we would encourage you to pop-in for a few minutes to meet us, take a look around and find out more, with no obligation.

All new patients will have a brief tour pointing out the areas important to you with one of our receptionist to help you get a feel of the practice. This will be followed by a comprehensive assessment by the dentist you have booked with. Your consultation gives us the opportunity to listen to any health or cosmetic concerns you may have with your teeth and dental care, and we will take detailed radiographs if required. Your gums, teeth and past dental work will be examined and you will also be screened for oral cancer.

Don’t worry if you haven’t been to the dentist for a long time; treat this as a fresh start. Many of our new patients are worried about visiting the dentist. Our team is friendly and sympathetic. They will go out of their way to help to try and make you feel more relaxed. The waiting areas are light and airy, and there is an opportunity to sit outside in the large garden when the weather suits.

During the consultation we will discuss our findings and any treatment options that are available to you. We have a preventive and conservative approach to dentistry, giving you important fundamental advice to maintain and preserve a healthy mouth. If you would like or require any treatment, we will always confirm your treatment and cost in writing.

We hope this is the beginning of a long and happy relationship between us, like many of our existing patients who have been with us for many years.
